“Today’s education system faces irrelevance unless we bridge the gap between how students live and how they learn.” (21st Century Skills.org) According to Marc Prensky, digital natives are “today’s students, they are native speakers of technology, fluent in the digital language of computers, video games, and the Internet.” The rest of us are affectionally referred to as “digital immigrants”. As we work through this course, we will challenge the "status quo" and dive into discussions on how to transform instruction.
